About the position

Critical Requirements: 

• Must have passed Grade 12.
• Must have completed at least 25% of number of subject to obtain B. Compt degree or similar, and be continuing with studies.
• Must be registered as Trainee with NIPA.
• Must have at least 1 year practical experience in an accounting environment. 
• Namibian Citizen or permanent resident with permission to work in Namibia. 
• Driver's license Code B.
• Must have basic MS Excel and Word skills.

Key Performance Areas:

• Preparation of standard / routine Income Tax Calculations and returns for salaried persons and standard trading entities.
• Compiling client yearend working paper files. 
• Drafting of client Annual Financial Statements. 
• Preparation of VAT, Import VAT, PAYE, Provisional Tax, Social Security, Employee Compensation and similar returns.
• Perform client data processing independently.

Language requirement: English

Further preferences:

• Person of a previously disadvantages group as described in the Employment Equity Act. 
• Additional relevant academic progress.
• Pastel and MS office experience.
