About the position

Critical Requirements: 

• Grade 12

• Must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience within a tax administration environment; Fair knowledge of the Income Tax Act.

• Namibian Citizen or permanent resident with permission to work in Namibia.

• Code B Driver’s License.

Key Performance Areas:

• Provisional Tax - Payments.
• Tax Assessments and objections.
• Statements of Accounts.
• Extension of time – Income Tax returns.
• Tax audits.
• Training and assistance.

Language requirement: English - must have a good grasp of written and spoken English.

Further preferences:

• Person of a previously disadvantaged group as described in the Employment Equity Act.
• Additional relevant academic requirements.
