About the position

Critical Requirements:

  • Grade 12.
  • Namibian Citizen or permanent resident with permission to work in Namibia.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in systematically handling volumes of work, following correct filing and archiving procedures; understand and logically follow through on procedures involving several different steps.
  • Must have no less than 1 year, and preferably 2 years practical experience in a secretarial administration environment. 
  • MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Driver's license code B.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Registration of Close Corporations.
  • BIPA submissions and queries.
  • Resignations for Close Corporations, Individuals and Partnerships.
  • Deregistrations for Close Corporations.
  • New client take-on for Close Corporations, Individuals and Partnerships.
  • Prepare minutes and Maintenance of minute books for Close Corporations.
  • Assist with "Know Your Client" (KYC) procedures as required in the Financial Intelligence Act.

Language requirement: English - must have a good grasp of written and spoken English.

Further preferences:

  • Person of a previously disadvantaged group as described in the Employment Equity Act.
  • Additional relevant academic requirements.
