About the position

Critical Requirements: 

• Must have completed all first year subjects of a B.Compt degree or similar degree or passed at least one ACCA Exam on the Applied knowledge level.

• Must be enrolled with a University to continue with studies towards a B.Compt degree or ACCA qualification.

• Must be registered as a Trainee with the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB).

• Must have at least 1 year relevant audit experience.

• Namibian citizen or permanent resident with permission to work in Namibia or in possession of a valid work permit with permission to work in Namibia.

• Must be in possession of a Driver’s License Code B.

Key Performance Areas:

• Assist on audits of client year-ends.
• Assist on client data processing.
• Perform filing duties.
• General office duties and deliveries.

Language Requirement: English

Further Preferences: 

• Be able to use CaseWare to prepare audit work papers.

• Person of a previously disadvantaged group as described in the Employment Equity Act.

• Additional relevant academic requirements.
