Critical requirements:
- Must have passed Grade 12;
- Must have completed an Accounting degree, or in the process of obtaining such a degree;
- Must have a minimum of 1-year relevant bookkeeping and accounting experience;
- Must be a self-driven person that is able to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Namibian citizen or permanent resident with permission to work in Namibia;
- Code B driver’s license
Key performance Areas:
- Review compliance with Sectional Title Act and report any non-compliance to the Board of Trustees and Managing Agent with specific reference to;
- Calculation of invoicing of levies;
- Debtors control;
- Preparation of budgets for submission to the annual general meeting;
- Preparation and distribution of minutes
- Distribution of correspondence;
- Preparation of annual reports for inclusion with the Annual Financial Statements, or presentation at the annual general meeting;
- Attendance to owner/trustee queries and arrangement of long-term maintenance plans;
- Recommendations of contractors with quotes for repairs and maintenance;
- Maintenance of owner register with contact details and financial management;
- Compilation of Annual Financial Statements in terms of International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium Sized Entities (“IFRS for SME’s”);
- Assist clients with design and implementation of internal control systems;
- Be able to do medium to large sized Body Corporate audits independently – from planning phase through to conclusion phase;
- Ad Hoc assignments.
Language requirement: English
